that's why you should inspect the package while they were there. Never take something this valuable without inspecting the package while the delivery driver is there. or call in so it can be picked up at the nearest ups center. Also since that's just the duraflex version it's no big deal that can be easily fixed by a body shop, you gotta get it painted anyways.

Ya, but I'm not paying for the fix. UPS will foot this bill.

I'll make sure I inspect it at the distribution center first.

hah, this. i just got three boxes of car parts monday. TWO of the three were damaged. I called them seriously 15 minutes after receiving the packages when i opened them and found the damaged stuff.

They wanted me to package everything back up the way it came so they could come back and get it and take it to some unknown place to be inspected so they could decide if they'd pay the claim. I even asked about taking it to the UPS store or distribution center by my house, to which i was told didnt deal with claims. I was also told they couldnt guarantee i'd get it back. Problem with them taking it being, there was other stuff in those boxes that isn't damaged (thats worth a decent chunk of money) that they wanted to take too. Sorry, but i'm not letting all that stuff go somewhere and not know where and if i'm getting it back. So i'm taking the hit. Thank god i have the resources to fix it and it can be fixed.
