Have you ever pulled the intake tube off for any reason? If so, did ya make sure to disconnect that hose? If not, you could have caused a minor crack on the nipple that eventually let go.

Yeah except for Toyota's rusty truck frames, sludged engines and faulty ecu's , sticky accelerators.. .. ......I'll refrain from a google search.

Whats the fastest car they currently make that wont drive you right into a brick wall or river at full throttle

Something tells me this car is worth the minor annoyances.

The PCV line isn't that big of a deal and you can still drive it around if you can figure out a way to tape it at all. Those break pretty often on these cars actually, and are a bit of a pain in the ass for everyone. Mine didn't break as badly as yours, but I taped mine and drove it for about a week or so like that.

Yeah...you hafta be super careful when moving that pipe. If that hose is still attatched an you move the intake pipe even slightly, you can crack that plastic nipple. The braided line it's attatched to is under tension and is very stiff, so you really can't move it at all when it's attatched.

Hmmm Im more worried about the hole on the intake side. I dont want the turbo sucking in unfiltered air

Yeah I think I broke it when I was changing the filter. Dealer doesnt need to know that though

you can say that again, I got the chance to drive an Lexus IS-F yesterday, even with the v8 it's still slower than my car, the navi CRASHED on the test drive, and the car's engine ticks loudly enough the customer wanted ME to check it out after she had been through trouble with the dealer. Fail.
