downpipe bolt size

downpipe bolt size

anyone know that the four bolts and nut sizes are that connect the dp to the header

15mm for the nut is correct.

I just had experiene with this over the weekend helping install a DP. Had to buy new bolts and nuts.

They are M10X1.50 and you need them about an inch long for the bolts. We went to Lowes and brought one of the bolts/studs with us that came out of the turbo outlet. Double check by going to the Hardware section and thread it into the guide, but I'm 99.99999% it's M10X1.50.

Like I said, you can get some M10X1.50 bolts and nuts from the hardware store or if you want you can order factory replacement studs from GMPartsEast for about $3.09 each -Part Number for the stud is 609870. It looks like the Nut IS in fact an M10X1.50 and you can get that for about $3.59 each - Part Number 032594.

Here's the diagram....

word thanks, couple questions. autozone has these size bolts but some are 30mm, 40mm, 50 mm, whats the difference?

No problem Just helping out when I can.

Honestly, I'm not too sure what the mm is, most likely length I would assume because 30mm is about 1 inch.

I'm no expert on bolts and nuts, I just brought one in to the hardware store to compare and it worked out for me lol.

lol word. Did you end up replacing the gasket as well?
I thinking about doing that as well for giggles. Its a 4 dollar part.
