Driving with a CEL

So I just threw a CEL last night just driving normally. I'm pretty sure It's from the oil on my new CAI but I'm not positive because It has been in for almost 2 weeks now with no CEL, along with my downpipe. Main question is should I be fine driving it with the light on if it is from one of those? or should I be letting it sit untill I can get it looked at?

There are thousands of things that can set off a cel. They range from basically nothing to something bad. Until you know what the code is everybody is just guessing.

changes in ltft could take a while to build up high enough to throw a code. i'd say don't drive unless you have to and try to stay off boost until you get it checked, just to be safe.

If it is oil from the filter that's setting it off though should I just drive it untell the CEL just goes away? or should I possibly take the sensor out and wipe it down or something?

yea, check if the sensor needs to be cleaned. it's never a good idea to wait out a CEL tho IMO. can't hurt to get it checked.

If the CEL is blinking, don't drive. If it's not...........no biggie.
