Drove the HHR SS/TC Today!!!
Not really that impressed, well granted it was a GAY Automatic!! So i let the fiance drive it, and it really turbo lagged bad, would not take off, didnt know if it was because of the automatic, or if it was just cold. So I dont know what was going on with it, but overall not impressed at all, the seats could have been better also, but that could just be because i love my Recaros, i like the design of them but the comfort i dont know, there not bad, but not good either, overall i hope the cobalt turns out a lot better car, so we will see
the exterior styling I will give that to GM. That is impressive, considering the ground effects and the redesigned bumpers make it really stand out, and the intercooler right in the bumper grille, so that is definately an A++++

We bought an 06 HHR last year, the LT2 model... it is comfy as hell for a long trip. The only thing I don't care about is that I havent figured out how to turn the traction control off for snow drivin... that sucks goin through the hills with it on in the snow.

I don't understand why everyone thought the HHR SS was going to be fast.
I've driven one with just G85 and 5spd and it wasn't impressive at all. It fell on it's face after 5000rpm.

Tried the putting in L... the dic says low traction and the throttle reduces like you are not on the gas to stop the spinning... There is a way to turn it off, I just have to read up on it.

Rallyracer and myself checked a auto one out Saturday. They are nice, but yuck sloshmatic. I would consider it if it wasnt $24k+, i kinda like having all that storage room. You sit high in them, but theres a couple inches of room to drop it on some coilover/springs. the rear latch is button operated too, it was weird at first touching it hahha
