Electric Or Manual Boost Gauge??

do the SS/TC's have electric or manual boost gauges??? Im trying to buy a prosport boost gauge but im on deployment and dont have my car so i need ur help....

Electric or Manual????

stock is electric, but you can swap and run a mechanical one

how exactly would i do that? should i buy the Mechanical one from prosport or the electric one??

mechanical is more accurate..not sure how to swap.. maybe cut lines, remove electric gauge...install mechanical gauge, tap vac hose from gauge into vac line in car??

I would buy the electrical one. Otherwise you'll need a physical connection between the manifold pressure and the gauge, and right now there is none!

Its really easy to install I would go mechanical it gives you a much more accurate boost reading as well not laggy at all like electric

Mechanical have a line you have to run. Can't remember where to, I wasn't paying much attention when I saw a couple buddy's doing it.

run a manual fo sho. these cars are VERY finicky with e-boost controllers. my car hated the aem tru boost. swaped for a turbo xs manual
