Exhaust question for 2010 ss

I just got the car and debadged it. To complete the sleeper project I'd like to get something make it quieter. The exhaust tip is pretty huge too. Will a base model cobolt muffler bolt right up? I'm not worried if I lose a few hp. Dumb idea?

I think it's stock. That's what I was told but idk. It definitely rumbles with a cold start and has a deep low pitched growl. I'm looking for Honda civic quiet.

Likely modified then. Do you know if other Cobalt exhaust weld up? Supercharged or base model. I already have a loud **** off the neighborhood car.

if i remember correctly the lsj exhaust is smaller diameter then lnf. also check and see if its the stock downpipe. the downpipe will make a big difference in sound. but if you want to make it sleeper and not hurt power much just cut tip off at muffler and weld a base model tip on. you will need an adapter.

I think Lnf is bigger by .25 I think.
Lsj/le5 have same diameter. And same muffler.
I have 2.50 mandrel bent piping over the axle welded to the Lnf muffler.

or.... find out if it has a resonator, if not, add one, then go wingless. that's all you need, these cars are so overlooked, trust me its already a sleeper

Pics coming this weekend. Let's see if we can figure exactly what's on this car.
I think you're right the dp is not stock.

I already love that I mostly go unnoticed in this car. I'm used to soccer moms clutching their babies to their side when I go by in the camaro.
