Supercharging with stock exhaust?
What kind of issues might I face if I don't buy an exhaust setup before supercharging my le5? Will it be too restrictive?
I should be getting my last part for my build next week, and I am low on funds for an exhaust. And I want to keep my exhaust pretty quiet like it is now.

I'm using the M62 that I polished a bit.
I know that I should get an exhaust for full benifit, but I also want to keep it quiet.
would it be better to just buy 2.5 in piping from mandrelexhaustsystems.com then buy a larger muffler? thats somthing i have been thinking about.

There is nothing wrong with using stock exhaust, it's just not optimal. It still get's the job done though, mine saw 230whp/205tq on complete stock exhaust with stock pulley.
