GM stage 1 performance

So I know the stage 1 brings the torque to 320 and HP to 280 but what exactly does it do for 0-60 and 1/4 mile times when the rest of the car is stock/ close to stock? It's very tempting but I would like to know the actual gains are before purchasing.

0-60 on stock tires wont do too much as theres only gain in second gear and it will let the tires loose. im sure with practice you might shave off a tenth or two but i believe its just easier to get the 5.5second to 60 car and driver quoted Stock we just dont have the traction to get very impressive 0-60s. allot of cases peoples 60fts went up but there quarter mile dropped by a couple of tenths due to all the extra power. good sticky tires would make a world of difference on both aspects.

Yeah the GMS1 is pretty popular, a lot of people swear by it....for warranty only though

If you want more power then I would go with Trifecta or HPT

The hp and tq gains are way better with those 2 above then the GMS1 will ever have

Regardless of tune like #2 said you're going to want to upgrade the tires from the stock Contis, they're simply not up to the task and there's a load of options out there that out-perform them hands down .

we've got a failtactular 1-2 gear split so i think you'd be greated with lots of tire spin once you tried on anything less than a drag radial...

I've only tried 0-60 a few times, and that was going off my interceptor gauge (I don't know how accurate it is). Unfortunately the best time I've gotten was 5.7s, even with stage 1, but that was a **** poor launch. I'd imagine you'd shave 1-2 tenths off if your tires held traction.
