GM Stage 1 turbo upgrade install
I just got a GM stage 1 turbo upgrade. I have a 2009 SS/TC with 1500 miles on it. How soon is too soon to install it? Someone told me to wait until I had at least 5000 miles on it. Any info. on this would be appreciated. I just don't want to install it too early and have long term issues along way down the road. Thanks.

Actually there is no real set break in time. Everyone will tell you something different. These are all opinions. Many dealers install the stage 1 on the 2010 models as soon as someone purchases it off the showroom floor.
im getting mine installed before i take the car, the set break in is 500 miles 805 km, and they instruct not going over 5000 rpms , and not remaining at a constant speed , that is in the manual
true, most will say 900 miles about, where the car will start to open up.
