Great turbo upgrade for lnf 2.0 engine!!

Hi guys,
I've recently ordered a turbo upgrade for my Cobalt SS 2009 (DolceNera).
Since it is the most powerful I've found online, and I didn't see any thread about it, I figured I wanted to share this info with you, just in case you never saw it.
The link is
05, 06, 07, 08, 09 Chevy, Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2.0L Turbo Kits - LSJ

I've ordered the 535 hp kit, I can't wait to install it.
They also have one for 460 hp.
Turbo kits for the LSJ are also available. I hope this info can help some of you deciding better on their turbo choice.

Ugh...miss information. Not to mention that if you want to run that much on a LNF you'd need to beef up those rods.

I know PWerks guys and all, and am a good friend of the current guy running that kit, and they aren't even making that HP on their stock motors (mustang dyno numbers. Dynojet numbers, yeah)

Your intentions are just, this company just resales other companies kits, when you could have gone straight to them to get better pricing. lol

Are you comparing this:
Treadstone Kit $2570:

Stage 3 Package Includes
A Custom Trifecta map
Trifecta OBD 2 cable
Cold air intake
Catback exhaust system, (Aluminized w Muffler)
Catless downpipe.
TR8 front mount intercooler kit
Bypass valve block off
Turbosmart blow off valve

With this:????

Can't copy and paste..just look at link:

Werks Kit $4600:
05, 06, 07, 08, 09 Chevy, Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2.0L Turbo Kits - LSJ

So far, I've ordered the kit, plus the Hahn intercooler with the charge air pipings, and the clutchmaster stage 4 (6 puck) clutch and flywheel.
I've contacted Brian Crower to quote me on a stroker kit, which I will order soon. They gave me a price of $ 2,900 for CP or JE forged pistons, rods and crankshaft. The displacement with this stroker kit will be 2.2L
I'm trying to look for performance camshafts, but I can't find any, do you guys know a manufacturer for performance camshafts?

I have to send my ECM to them, they will flash it according to the kit, plus it comes with the AEM true-boost controller to adjust the turbo

Dont know why your doing all of this. A ZZP or TreadStone kit would put you in the 450whp class and would be thousands less

If they are quoting you $2900 for a custom stroker kit including crank, rods, and pistons for your LNF, then I don't think they know enough about the motor to be offering these parts. That is unless they plan to make the kit mainstream. Either way, you can already make over 500 ft lbs of torque with the S252 turbo that we offer on the stock displacement.

There's one hell of a difference!

That TF tune on his car with that kit made less HP then the highest whp stock turbo Cobalts. Get a real tune if you get that kit...

True, that does hurt it a lil bit. Should still be near or over that 400whp mark tho honestly even on that dyno. ZZP has a Mustang and they have no issue hitting 450/450 with their basic upgrade kit

Ahahahah no, I just saved for a very long time to get my cobalt the way I want it. I love it like that. In Italy I've raced 5 years professionally in the Italian Superturismo Championship, I would like my car to feel like a race car as much as possible. HATE SUVsss!!!!
The cams at ZZP are for the LNF???

Well not really, it is only a few hundreds less, from what I see. f you add the base price to all the options they have for that kit, it is about 4k
