So, 100% stock, I can hear the boost leak now. At boost I can hear a shhhhhhhh sound. Must be the ic damnit!
Yup, if you hear that "shhhhhh" sound, it's one of the endtanks that's cracked. It will be on the face of either tank, between the bumper cover and the IC. You can look up in there without taking the cover off. It'll be right about here:

I win.

Well ZZP had an unbeatable price .. Wish mine went after they made them .. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...=214230&page=9

Looks like they aren't shipping them for a few weeks .

600 dollars or wait

If the dealer fixes it well cool but they usually don't replace it under warranty so synapse has the same core as Dejon but I personally think my Dejon had a better welder put the end tanks on and it is pressure tested. and it is a little more money so...
Depends what you wanna do but the stock is just going to continue to give you problems even if you get it replaced .. That intake must have really helped the car breathe better if it did this right away

Awesome! You figure there would be a specific code for that.

No clue how it busted, It is in the intake manifold right? Well may have been the high boost or just factory defect. When they called they said the pulled a code but I never saw a check engine light.

I hear that a lot on here. I guess not every code calls up the check engine light.

I'd ask a few people who have done GM stage 1 if you could buy their old sensor..... might be able to get it cheap and quick....... or even borrow one till yours comes in.

I got the Car back last night and still was not driving right still would not boost. I took it back and they found a new problem. The MAF sensor is now fried. They blamed the k&n that I have in the stock air box! I should have it back tomorrow. More to come.

Ok, the SAGA continues....

They replaced the maf and made me bring in my stock airfilter. Then they drove it this morning and they said it had a new code that they did not know what it means. It took them from 12 till 3:30 to decide that it is because of the o2 sensor. So, That will come in on monday and they will see if that fixes it!

Another Update

This just in....GM techs are retarded and there has been a crack in one of my end tanks for the intercooler just as all of us thought. So, they will be replacing the intercooler today and I will get my car back tomorrow as I am stuck at work and school for 17 hours today.

ahh, the glorious endtank cracking issue.

If only my dealership understood that this was a problem, maybe they wouldn't bitch about my new intercooler.

Sounds to me like the dealer was throwing parts at it and hoping one would stick. I think I'd be asking for the old parts back, if you had to pay for them, and telling them they were going to be tested independently. OR behind door number two is give me my money back.
