How much vacuum

How much vacuum should i see at idle without ac on?

This is what I show now

That seems slightly high. Is the car warm? what rpm is it idling at? at idle im just under 20.

I'm wondering if your elevation has an effect on vacuum ? Mine is at 19 when idling at operating temp and I'm about 1300ft ASL. If the car isn't to temp it will show a lesser value ...just a heads up.

Edit ...... I was looking and as a rule they say you lose 1'' HG per 1000 feet you go up . Also someone asked this question on a miata forum and a few people responded that they were seeing 13-14'' of vac in colorado so it seems like your good.

depending on the elevation, that will have an effect on the amount of vac/boost you would see. Where in Colorado are you?

i cant see vac becuse the RPD doesnt show it. prolly not a good thing.

i live <100 ft above sea level and see 15-20 vac when the AC is on.
