IAT2 on LNF
I have no way to test my IAT2s.
Has anyone tested stock IAT2s or with aftermarket IAT2s?
I would really like to know if the car is getting really hot intake temps on a hot day.
I would think with my huge intercooler that it wouldn't get much above ambient.
But we know what assumptions do.

It does not according to logging I have done. It can be 50* above ambient temps with hard driving. The stock IC heatsoaks badly in 90*+ temps and hard driving.

No one is upset at all. Would you like to explain further? I think what you're getting at is when the air enters the intercooler it has already been compressed by the turbo and hence is a lot warmer than when the air enters the intake. I didn't even think about that until now. So the intercooler is actually doing a lot more than I originally thought.
Interesting - maybe it's a humidity thing? In the dry-ass heat of AZ, it has been extremely efficient for me.
Yes, high RH and high temps are murder on the stock IC if you drive hard. Lower RH even it hot conditions there will be less heat soak than really humid conditions.
It makes me wonder if a aftermarket IC would help an otherwise stock SS/TC? My car runs much stronger at night in the cold air. If it's supposed to make 260 all the time , why doesn't it pull the same during the day?
260 is only the target torque figure - the higher rpm the car can make that amount of toruqe, the more horsepower it'll make and the harder it will pull. What you'll likely see if you compare stock dynos in hot vs cold weather is the two similar peak torque figures, but the car in the heat will start seeing torque drop much sooner.
