to avoid the confusion our tuners can't hold a candle to the Solstice tuners....

no they are putting down MORE whp than you with drivetrain loss... and most of them, that spring is one of the 1st things they do to the car... even a lot of the HHR guys have had good results tuning with it, just the Cobalt that seems to have a problem with flutter with it... i've seen a couple in the 350whp/360ft-lbs on heartbreakers and like I said, they actually have a drive shaft to soak up some power

and I know "no dynos are created equal" and I will agree but the fact is, with drivetrain loss, they should be down a good bit to us

350/360. Please. Show me that dyno graph and the mod list. Show me 1 legitimate dyno. The very fact that you said 360 peak torque tells me that's not the K04.

From not very long ago.

What's the highest HP STOCK turbo kappa? Put down 307rwhp - Page 2 - Pontiac Solstice Forum

So please explain your fanciful numbers, and the uber tuners that magically make the Kappa turbo more efficient. I want some of that kool aid.

We have not found the drivetrain loss to be as much of a difference as we have been hearing. Our Sky was within 5whp of my Cobalt stock vs. stock. That would be 2%, which is mentionable, but not extreme.

Not even close. If you think that spring adds power you are dilusional. I had one on my car and I actually dynoed before and after and it made no difference at all. It just made the BPV a little louder and caused some minor compressor surge on my car so I took it off. The Solstice guys are not making more power where did you get that idea?

Ive seen a couple Cobalt's over 350whp now...to say the Cobalt tuners can't hold a candle is laughable..

Now, did anyone think about the LNF Pontiac has no vacuum canister but ours does. What if we did the canister mod and got rid of that vacuum would it change the result of turbo flutter? Thinking that larger vacuum down the line would create a draw from a BPV. That is trying to close faster than normal?
