Just test drove the HHR SS...

And I was very impressed! I got a chance today to drive the HHR SS when I went to say Hi to a friend of mine who works at the dealership. They have already sold 3 of them and I got to drive the black 5speed version.

Overall, it looks great. The seats are some of the comfiest I've sat in and the layout of the interior is nice.

As for performance, it was nice driving it. Very quiet and pulled pretty well! You could tell there was a tad bit of lag from the turbo but not much at all. At times you could hear it whistle a bit. When I was on the freeway with it, it had no trouble getting up to 85! Here's just a couple photos.

$25,000 is a good sign. you are getting more car so expect the cobalt to be a grand or two less

I really didn't think to take more pics. Yes, the black looks great in person, same with the red one that was right next to it.

Why do you say that? I think the prices will be exactly the same.

Well from when I woked for GM the HHR was a couple grand more for a similerly optioned car. Now that may have or may change but its not a far fetched idea.

The Panel SS isn't available until the next model year.

I agree though, it could be one hell of a sleeper.

Actually all the funeral homes around here use silver/grey vehicles now.
