Well the admin makes the rules. So until he is actually a vendor, he can't advertise his company.

 

this is why so many members are bailing on this place... seriously, I love it for what it is but I do not understand things like this

you guys need to stop supporting "certain" vendors while completely ignoring others, i don't want to say something I shouldn't, so i'll just leave it at that

I mean its a sad day when you got vendors WANTING to get on your site, WILLING to pay, which would create COMPETITION, which in the end, helps your MEMBERS, which without... YOUR SITE WOULD BE WORTHLESS


I don't support any one vendor here, i've bought from several... competition is always a good thing, anyone afraid of competition, isn't a good practitioner of business

 

competition is always good.....it keeps everyone on their toes and thinking about how to surpass another vendor. one vendor will come out with something and other vendors will try to top them. it results in better, more efficiant, quality, and learned//new info about products.

^^^Well put, but I understand the moderators position also, he his here to enforce the admins rules whether he agrees with them or not.

I was wondering why some of these companies weren't vendors yet (and should be), the admin of this site might want to be careful, there are other sites out there waiting for a major slip up here so they can become the site that everyone wants to go too.

 

yeah i understand the mods too. the only thing that aggrivates me slightly is when i see the admin post up on the board for peoples threads but cant take a few minutes to address the possible vendors. i mean its money in his pocket so i dont see what the problem is to be honest.

 

well I am the one that got my hand slapped... and I will probably get it slapped/banned again for posting this... Jordan has been trying to become a vendor on this site for over 5 months now... I think it is interesting that certain 'site vendors' see him as a threat - but hey when you have the goods and can deliver, I guess they have a right to be uncomfortable...

I am probably like many of you guys out there - I feel that it is important to share the information. Hell, if someone can save me the time, trouble, and money on something then I am all for putting it out there! This isn't the first time this has happened and sadly it isn't the last. This site is a business and regardless of 'fair' and 'right' it is their personal property to do with as they see fit...

As for the bracket situation, Jordan told me that K&N is going in on Monday to fabricate something. My car is missing it as well and as a result, Jordan is going to fabricate a temporary work around. If I can get some pics of the temporary solution I will post them up - but it will be at least a week. In the mean time if others could share their solutions, I would love to see some other ideas.

ordered a ZZP charge pipe along with this intake, I hope it works out with 0 problems, lol. THe way I figure is if someones gonna get there intake done right, its gotta be K&N.

The intake needs to be fixed first, the 08's and early 09's dont have the same bracket as the later 09's and 10's, so the intake doesnt fit right but K&N is fixing it. So until then im holding back
