Hey guys, new person here...I've had my SSTC since october of 08 and im ready to get this car running.
It's all stock other than the GM upgrade kit I purchased last year. Now im ready for the K&N Cold Air intake. I found one on ebay for $215, bad thing is, im not savy when it comes to cars and I would not know how to put the kit in... anyone know of a good place to install it?
I live in Fort Worth TX btw.

Here's the link to it, this would be the right one, correct? I was just wondering why the heck it's so low compared to most of the other SSTC ones..

its not the right one from the pics plus they didnt make a cai only a sri. here ya go

Just installed mine, fitment was a little tight with the 2 hose near the turbo, but seem to fit not too bad other than that, and it sound good!! was scared somehthing was bad at first with the loud vaccuum sound and the loud pshhh after WOT, i was not expecting that loud...


And it definatly feel like it spool quicker!

the screw for the hose clamp that holds the intake tube to the turbo is such a bitch to get off. any pointers? haha

I haven't done this, but a swivel with a ratchet should get you in there.

the rpm climb and go back when i hit it in 3rd at 60 now... its worst with the intake, not sure i want to install my downpipe this week now hehe... time to upgrade.

^^^ that **** sounds sick. 22 pounds of boost you hear that **** recirculate through that intake like a dart.
