You're like all the Fbody guys who try 700 intakes and then always end up back to maybe a lid+filter and thats it hehe.

Ahh I miss those days.

I know, I know it's hard though car has been out for 2 years and there still isn't an intake out that works properly without tuning.

Lol I was kidding. I have no idea if a GM Intake is coming.

I AM an Fbody guy... but it's all stock. Needs a Delco battery and 2 Eagle F1 GS tires to be 100% right down to the wiper blades. Just turned 20K when I put it to sleep for the winter.

Alright everyone! I spoke with my buddy at K&N and they have the part # in the system but it still shows development hold. My feeling is the K&N system will be released in about a month. I've been trying to get one here for testing but I'll just have to wait.

I'd rather have K&N spend another month taking their time instead of rushing a POS to market. Having worked for K&N I know and understand all of the test protocol's and it's a lot of work! LOL! I have 15 kits on order with K&N and I'm 99% sure I have the first order in.

I'll get some more info tomorrow regarding any updates on the release date.

Kind regards,

Jordan Priestley

Hahn's intke throws codes because of the placement of the MAF sensor
it needs to be close to filter becuase the temp. & the air flow change by time it passes the Maf
Thet's what i was told by an AEM reprsenative
I have an Aem intake and no problems

The Hahn intake wasn't designed by an engineer with a flow bench to test sensor readings, great idea bad design. I know of a few people that have had issues with every intake currently on the market. I have faith the K&N SR will be the one!!! They've NEVER disappointed me! Hopefully that will remain true!

K&N does their research.... thats why its been almost 2 years since the car was introduced that the intake was brought to surface...

I can guarantee you their are people parusing this and other Cobalt sites... lurking finding out all this other info...

Good job K&N looks like the one I'll be getting as well

as long its not the wrong flash because I'm not gonna bitch if so. just happens I read it off what the mechanic did and thats why I question myself. they got both the calibrations in, so I'm not gonna worry about it. I'm looking for the KN SRI more than what GM will be coming out. I like the SS logo you got on your banner that really would go with our cars, especially the black ones or the reds. That will make it very catchy to the persons eye and drawn in publicy, which I don't give a crap because that was the first thing I notice on my cobalt and because I'm german.

There is a reason for it here on nazicobaltss.net LOL But they could not have flashed the LSJ stage 2 on your car it would not have run, or been compatable.

You got the Stage 1 calibration, there is no stage 2 calibration for the Cobalts

I'm just trying to say that you can be viewed as hateful for it. It's a strong symbol for those who are older, like myself. I think the image you're trying to portray for this site (and I don't disagree) is going to stick to you instead.
