kms

im starting to see a lot of really low km sc ss up for sale in Quebec and some of these just seem ridiculous. There's a 2005 with 11km another with 21km. There's a few more I've seen but don't remember exactly. My question is how easy is it to roll back your odo and can you tell if it's been done to a car? Im wondering if mine has been done? Shady history on it.

i don't think its easy to do with digital odometers dude. those are crazy low numbers though.

maybe, MAYBE if you swapped out the dash with a new one its possible but i really don't know. switching the pcm out doesn't do anything i know that.

best way to tell is by thouroughly looking over everything for wear and buildup like the engine block and seats

My 08 has 20,000 something km, dont drive it in the winter.
Im sure most of those ones you are seeing are people who did the same but no longer want the car.

It's not that hard, some shady shops in Montreal are specialized in that kind of stuff. They have special (illegal?!) software to do it. They use it just like you can use hp tuners. So I would be careful about low mileage cars in the province of Quebec.

The mileage is stored on the BCM (little black box.)

It may be a common thing in Montreal... Very popular among people who lease luxury cars.
