i mean how can a clutch be properly broke in within a week. ......... Just cruising doesn't break it in......... Stop and goes some cruising not just cruising by itself......
Oh lord, I believe I've just been told off by a high school dropout. Can someone decipher his posts to me? Meh, anyways I have a firm belief that a company should stand by its products. I shouldn't get something and just 'hope' it will work. I have nothing to say to you. This is my experience with a company. As far as user error... do you see my sig? I'm pretty sure I'm familiar with high hp clutches and pressure plates... and how to break them in. Whatever though, with your attitude I don't need to 'bash' a company, you make them look bad all by yourself.

that analogy is fail, thats like sayin i dont use a condom and just pull out and i have not gotten any one pregnant yet.

they did stand by their product , they gave you a replacement for the clutch. what you are askin for is a happy ending on top of the massage.

High school dropout!!!!! ******* really.......hahahahaha. I can care less about your sig smart one. KY clutch has many many high hp and tq car including there own. i MROE THEN LIKLY HAVE MORE SCHOOLING THEN YOU AND IF I DONT I WILL!!!. internet talk is internet talk... ky clutch stood by there product and gave you a warranty clutch so stfu... i DONT WORK FOR THEM AND NOR AM I AFFILIATED WITH THEM .... So my attitude toward you is because yur **** talking is pure ignorance. Just because you had a issue or have a issue doesnt mean its ky clutches fault. Like is said user error, install error, and ect. It could be and if it is or was i know ky clutch would do what they should. I am sorry to tell you ky clutch should not have to pay your install price and ect just because you cant do it your self!!!.

I have been breaking in my clutch for about a month. put like 900 miles so far, of mostly city driving. I'm about to go buy some oil and give my car an oil change. Tonight i will finally try going WOT. I have had an itch for the past month! lol and for what the others have said, i too have some of those things such as, high engagement point, some noise when clutch out and in neutral, and a way softer clutch pedal. But i don't really care about all that, i just want it to grab! We'll see how it goes tonight. wish me luck! lol

Those of you with aftermarket clutches needed to understand that they're not going to be as forgiving with regard to excessive slip during takeoff and not getting off of the clutch quickly enough during shifts, before applying gas.

Can you come grace my car oh omniscient one! I've actually used some of your info. from other posts (thank you) and I'm still learning more and more about my balt from this site. There are plenty of defective products out there. I've read in another post how you've gone though some 5 transmissions...User error? Just chill out, no reason to be a dick.

^^^^^^ Huh? My 5-6 trannys now were blown in 3rd gear on the full spool meaning around 4kish. Not user error, i mean it took about 1 day for one quaife tranny to blow but the other quaife tranny didnt blow till about 3 weeks, so i used stockers after that and they lasted longer. My tranny now is built and i havent blown it yet..

I'll never understand how you've gone through that many trannys. There's guys that have been running substantially more power than you for substantially longer with no issues. Have you tried switching to an LSJ quaife tranny?

Last I remember it was just over 400whp. Though that was a while back. But even then I remember you had blown some trannys at that power. Whether you're making more now or not doesn't change that.

I know it's at more now...but it wasn't always there. And you had blown trannys prior to making that much power. That's all I'm saying. It doesn't appear that your power levels are the sole root of your tranny issues. Could they be? Maybe...but like I've said...there's guys that haven't had those issues beyond that power level. But I digress. Do you have rotated Tranny mounts? If not that may help. I mean it must have something to do with the way the engine/tranny are moving under hard load that cause something to flex improperly and break.
