LNF going into limp mode

I’ve got me a 08 Cobalt ss that likes to throw a underboosing code... the car is completely stock besides a catless downpipe.

Ive read that it could be a couple of things but I want to make sure it’s not my turbo going.

So the car has 57k and I haven’t been able to boost over 11lbs. After a while of driving or driving aggressively (on ramps, passing) it’ll make a long whooshing and the boost will drop to a hair above 0lbs.

I have a Forge BPV coming on Monday in case the stock BPV is.bad but any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, I got mine thru the dealership but someone in the hhr ss Facebook group got it in Amazon for like 60 bucks, and it solved his issue also. Dealership calls it something like boost air by pass solenoid or something like that but boost bypass solenoid is easier lol.

He finally listened to me after a couple weeks and he is back to boosting!
