LNF upgrade clarification

I have great news if anyone who did not already know this.. the LNF upgrade from GMPP, you know the one that EVERYONE says "you cant tune on top of the upgrade" or "you can tune on the upgrade" well i am gonna clear the air for those like me who want info on it!!!!!! YES! You can tune on top of the LNF GMPP offers. i spoke to a GMPP dealer that is close to me. Of course he did not know much, but.... he gave me a number to a guy who purchased it from him and when i spoke to Andy he said that you indeed can tune after the upgrade without hurting the flash you get from the upgrade. IN FACT you have to do the upgrade, not necessarily gm's but the upgrade to a three bar map, if u want more boost/ high power the HHR he installed it on, which is the same as our beloved cobalt, plus a cat back they fab at his shop and his dwn pipe made 290 hp and 360 tq TO THE WHEELS..... GO GM! GO COBALT!

Wrong...you do not have to have the GMPP tune to have another tune. Just get a Trifecta tune or any other tune from somebody reputable on here.....the 3 bar would be nice but its not necessary. I and many other members are pushing 22 lbs with the stock stuff. I myself put down 307/361 with a trifecta tune, muffler delete, and dejon intake.

im not saying you have to have it but i know when ur pushing serious numbers the three bar is an important thing. my friends hatch civic had to have a 3 bar for the amount of power were making there. but we are pushing 20 psi and running 11.4 quarter times

but i guess hondas are diff. on that hhr there was no other tune so i think it wasnt a bad pwr rating per say but a decent one. i like the plug and play part of tunes not f-ing with fuel curves and things cuz i am daily driving. i want it all to be bolt-on mods along with a plug-n-play tune should i go for the hahn one then??

I've been selling the one for the HHR's, etc, and it does come with a code to be able to get it flashed at the dealership, yes.

You can find all of the info about that particular one on my site

You cut it off completely and replace it with a straight pipe welded on along with the tip. Costs usually less than $100 bucks.

The stock TMAPs are good for about 24.5 psi, are you pegging that much boost?
The 3.0 bar TMAPs are good for about 28.8 psi

For most of us, the 3.0 bar TMAPs are unnecessary.
