long term maintenance?
Hey guys...my 09 just got it's recall for the steering pump warranty so I'm scheduling an appointment...my question is that this daily driver of mine just hit 60k so I'm planning on having a radiator flush as well as trans fluid refresh...anything else I should have the dealership look at while I'm there? Frankly, I'm amazed that I've had practically zero issues with this car since new and pushing 23psi Trifecta tune...well other than I know I'm needing a stronger clutch next year lol...

dex cool is good for 150k, don't worry about the coolant this soon, if you haven't done spark plugs yet get some step cooler plugs( i got the ngk's from mpx) the lnf eats plugs.

When tuned the plugs will last 10k. Log your car and see what I'm talking about. It takes considerable more knock to actually show up on the RPD.
HPT log showed 6* and RPD only showed 1* at the same time. Has been consistently the same. Plugs take 10 minutes to change. If tuned, do it every 10k. Preventative maintenance to be safe than sorry.

I just logged my car (HPT) and posted results here. There was absolutley ZERO knock. The log has WOT runs from 60-100MPH. Again plugs are ORIGINAL with over 14K mi on them.

Depends on tune and how much timing you're throwing at it basically.
Trust me, I'd rather be safe than sorry and change them every 10k if tuned. Mine did NOT look like the picture above and had 5k less on them. What's $25 worth of plugs every 10k anyway? And as I am broke said, misfires happen quite often and it takes several in a row for a code to show.

i was on gm stage 1 fand the porcelain was starting to brown a good distance up the plug, plus after changing the plugs(stock to stock) i noticed the performance difference. I'd rather over change my plugs then play the misfire game lnf's like to play. Plus is your tuning get the ngk step colder, i got to run extra timing because of them.

Like has been said I don't think you need to flush your coolant but it would probably be a good idea to have your brake system flushed (or do it yourself) as well especially if you drive your car like it was meant to be driven.
Change the plugs yourself it takes 10 minutes and you can save a bunch of money and it is worth it.
Also a lot of guys recommend replacing the front O2 Sensor when tuned.
