Loud Sound at startup?

Loud Sound at startup?
Ok, i know this is normal but i need other people to say they have it too installed the hahn intake and at cold start up its SOO loud. Just the sound of the intake sucking air.

The startup cycle on these cars is quite loud, I wouldn't be surprised if the intake only makes it louder. I'd say it's totally normal.

imagine how it sounds with a downpipe and muffler delete!

i dont like it that much lol but when it goes down. sounds wonderful!

It's normal.... look at your boost gage on cold start. The turbo is boosting a bit to aid with warm-up.

X2. I have a muffler though. If you can call a Borla XR1 racing muffler a muffler. It is really loud when it first starts up. i like it much better once it comes out of cat warmup mode though.

Have you put up a sound clip of this exhaust? Im not sure if Ive heard Borla on our cars. If not, any chance of you posting one?
