lsj to lnf

ive got a 2006 lsj and my paint is starting to fade on my roof and im pretty much about ready to move on to the lnf. Just trying to get some opinions. I also love the white turbocharged. Are they just as reliable or what?

what do you mean. random CEL's just pop up. The lsj doesnt have that problem. Also do you know any dealerships around us that have one.

I haven't had many issues with codes..... only a couple from my catless DP but thats it.

I went from a LSJ to LNF ..... If your going to have the LNF tuned it's defiantly worth it . My old stage II SC with bolt ons and a 2.9 was a tick faster compared to my stock LNF .

I've ram rodded the **** out of this car and have had 2 CEL's that I caused myself..

Its got 32K on if fully bolted and tuned..

CEL's is a result of either suck ass tuner or suck ass parts installer .. ( sensors go bad but it isn't normal)

Something I like to call Operator error.

A few bad apples or "lemons" exist .. But these little motors are tough as nails....

Most are so satisfied they wish to keep there SS's for more than 5 years ..

This is my story. I originally purchased this car because I needed something in the 15-16K area until I got my feet back under me. I got a smoking deal on it and planned to keep it for a year. Now, I can afford something nicer, but I love this car so much that it's been two years and I'm not even thinking about other cars right now.

The only thing that haunts my dreams is the porous block thing.

There have been 10 or so on this site. It's scary to think if you modify your car at all and end up with a porous block, then they can blame the failure on your aftermarket parts and give you the shaft.

i dont meant the CEL's are due to bad product its most def my fault i just meant that its easier to throw them than in other cars ive driven but by no means the car's fault, mostly from missed shifts

Really ?

We just got a letter in the mail a few months back stating that our Honda Civic 1.8 VTEC's engine warranty will be extended for 5 years because so many of the blocks were porous from the factory they had to do that to avoid a law suite..

Out of all the LNF's 10 on this site out of about 3,000 cobalts not to mention KAPPA platforms have reported the issue and most of them even with after market parts . NOT TUNES but parts had there engines replaced , block shipped off to GM and every one was a happy camper..

Thats like the rarest **** on earth for the LNF.

Almost 3 years, no cells even with my cheapo intake. Def b prepared for rear rotor issues. After going back to GM 3 times for it, the mechanic took me outside and said I'd be better off buying an aftermarket set. Talk about no confidence in your product But besides that my car has had no major issues and I don't regret the purchase. Went from a 2.4 ss to a ss/tc btw.

CEL (Only got during the tuning sessions, it happens)
Rear brakes (Will only take a phone call and $200 to R1 and its all in the past)

Def worth buying a LNF especially with all the goodies that are going to be coming out this year
