2.5'' catted DP on my SS/SC ....... made my car way too loud even with GMPP touring catback. I could hardly hear the whine after that . Ended up putting my stock muffler on the GMPP catback to quiet it down..... believe it or not .........it sounded amazing with that bastardized catback ....so good that a couple other people tried it and loved it .

SS/TC....... Should have bought HPtuners ...... I don't hate Trifecta but I want to control my own tuning .... not rely on someone else to change every little thing. Hell....I can't even change when my cooling fans turn on.

well i have had the tvs off for a while now(had reliability issues with the car...didnt know for sure til i got it back to stock) but the only time i did dyno it, it was around 250hp/250tq...on 91 octane, 2 step colder plugs, 80mm pulley, jbp vortex(noodle) header(most of the reason for the numbers), an unfinished tune(due to the header and other things car would only take ~6* of timing), raw 3" cai, dual pass endplate, and small cx racing h/e, 60lb/hr injectors...i think thats it

and if your looking to tvs info, it's all pretty much here

I'd probably quit and sell everything if that happened to me with the TVS.
I ran a stock manifold when I first got my TVS and still put down over 280whp with 17* timing and 0 kr. Didn't think the noodle was more restrictive than stock

You see my mods list below. stock cooling system, 80mm pulley, 300+whp at 6600 rpm. Sumting wong with ur car bro

My fiberglass highrise from extreme dimension. Half price of the GM highrise, half the quality. If I would have known that I would have forked out the $700 for the GM one. I couldn't find a local one for sale.

Hates:
ANY CP's with worm drive clamps.. Just a fail
Stock Intercooler End Tanks lol
Stock HPFP...
Intakes without a locking breather line
Hawk train horn brake pads (any dust on them and you're in for a LOT of noise)

Recommend:
If you have to do a Intake - K&N, but please get a tune..
Any Catless DP
ZZP or Injen Upper CP - just be sure to get T-Bolt Clamps
TR8 or TR10 FMIC - only ones Ive seen the don't hang below the lip

go turbo. tvs can get you 350, but the difference is you will be pushing it hard (ie: small pulley, methanol or e85, agressive tune). turbo will push 350+ with ease.

Speaks the truth there. With a properly sized turbo you will still get great response and reach the 350whp easily.

If I didn't get a retarded good deal on my TVS I'd never have done it. for the money most people are gonna spend on a tvs and supporting mods, a turbo kit can be had.

I have serious torque envy. The hp numbers I'm happy with, but I hate not having as much torque as hp, and the powerband is not exactly in the useable range for daily driving. Peak hp at 7k rpm is fail.

all the shitty HID kits i bought. none of them seem to work worth a ****. Also, I had a guy on here tune my car. he charged $500 and had no idea how to tune an SS/TC. I didn't know that until after he was long gone though. He had the PE set at .83 from 80,90, and 100% at all rpms, wtf? and the DAL's were all set at 300 from the center-right side of chart all loads/rpm's. what a ******* waste of money.

The 6K HID's i have sitting in the box in the basement because they flicker and they are dim.
I'm using my old 5k's from my old car that are a lot brighter and flicker free.
