I put one on my car last month. Temps are cooler, but will have to wait until warmer weather to give you a full update in that regard. I also installed a downpipe and charge pipes. Been working on the tune, until the snow arrived, but haven't been to the dyno yet. Gains of the IC alone will be hard to quantify. Cooler intake and getting rid of the junk stock plastic was my main goal. An added bonus is that it don't hang down too low.

I see in your sig u have the injen charge pipes. Did they fit on the mpx ic good? I swear I read some where the mpx was 2.25" ic inlet instead of 2.5" but I can't remember.

Yeah, the MPx IC inlet is a little smaller than stock. You have to really tighten the clamp. I ended up double clamping it. Compared to the ZZP IC, it doesn't hang down as far, so less chance of wacking anything. Other than that, they seem to be about the same performance.

search my friend!

zzp: 28x8x4
mpx: 30x7x3.5

the zzp is taller so it does hang lower on the car. The stock couplers fit, but need to be tightened properly on the mpx unit.

Well the zzp one is behind more plastic. and with our small turbo you dont wan too big of a core. Theres some calculations to find out a good fit but I dont have that on me. with a stock turbo and tune either one will do good.

ok man thanks for he good info, i have the zzp pipe right now though would it benefit me more to get the zzp one or would i see no difference no matter the brand of cp. Im assuming that zzp made theirs to work with their cp.

they all use the stock CP mounting points so anyone will work. But for me we have lots of pop holes and hills and crap, Ive already scraped the @#$@#$ out of my stock lip, so I'm going mpx ic because the zzp one hangs too low and will get jacked up.

The endtanks on the ZZP look larger. Any reason why MPX went with that strange design of endtank?
