oh yep your right. My version would more than likely results in a blown turbo immediately.

Surge is not always caused by damaged fins. Surge is the back flow of air agaisnt the normal flow. Which a destroyed fin could cause surge that would require something to impact the blades which at that point you have more issues than just surge

The small hose on the top of intake manifold, disconnect that one and plug the bpv hose in there. This will completely bypass vac tank and solenoid. If it works proper after that, issue is either solenoid or vac tank. Try this and post results
Thank you! This took care of it perfectly! I just got done driving around for a good half hour just to hear the lack of Zoidberg under the hood!

Wow so bypassing the vac tank worked? forgot about that damn thing. Got rid of it at 500 miles and now at 75k

Well u don't want to leave it like that. To bypass valve solonoid is used by the ecu to protect the motor from over boost. I shall comment later to let u know how to bypass vac tank. But now let's find out if it's the solonoid or the vac tank. I totally removed my vac tank, show u how to do it later with the hookups. Gotta goto car and take picture

here I did this just for u. lol here is how to properly bypass the vac tank. if u set it up like this and it starts fluttering again, then replace ur bpv solenoid. the check valve I have on here is not technically needed. but it does cut down on flutter and it makes the system work how it was designed to work.
