So yea my tranny was replaced last week as most of you know under warranty
today the BOLT to the lower control arm fell out somewhere during driving and pinned the arm in between the ball joint and the lower control arm.
Had to get it flat bed
They better do **** right this time

demod for the dealer. the parts didn't cause the issue. the turbo went cause it was surging for 20k and 2 dealers wouldn't fix it. the engine went...imo cause there was metal in the engine from the turbo and they didn't repair it correctly
makes a horrid sound...

You freaking lucky, man. I had a brand new trans put in. 1500miles on it and I blew the clutch. Took it in to the dealer to make sure it was the clutch and not the ToB. They pulled it all apart verified it was the clutch. Told em id do the work cause they wanted 2k to do it. They put it back together and I drove it home 8 miles. Got all the parts in pulled he drain plug so I could yank the axels. NO fluid came out. My 4th and 5th gears are now toast. Still fighting those asshats.
when i took my axels out i didnt have to drain anything?
ALSO
i got the car back today, i signed a paper when it went in, but when I picked it up I didn't have to sign anything. Are they trying to cover their backs cause they fucked up the first time?

probably in a way yes. usually you have to sign to authorize a work order but since you authorized it the first time already they already have permission to fix those specific problems it has. i'd call and ask to see if they have it on record for future reference.
