not doing it fast enough or too close to redline.

It will probably pop when you do it, but you are probably doing it just a tad late. When are you going to nls...oh and between what gears? 1->2 is @#$@#$@# worthless.

unless you raised your redline, you should do it at 5800. I think stock is 6000 redline? forgot.

What were you doing in 2nd gear on the highway?? Hahaha!

I'd snap if that happened to me! It's probably only a matter of time though.

Don't do it when you have the tune on. too much power. you might break something.

I just nls'd a little bit ago from 2nd to 3rd and something went wrong and my check engine light came on and it started accelerating weird. then i felt it go back to normal and the check engine light turned off. no tune on my car

might have been because i did it on a cold engine because i was happy to be off work

you answered your own question :-p

car NEEDS to be warmed up
You have to do it before redline
You have to do it fast enough

Well even before I tuned, it still never felt smooth, always jumped to redline whenever I hit the clutch. It never felt like I was suppose to do it... When I got tuned it felt smoother, but I heard noises an felt like I was breakin somethin lol really tho....
So I haven't done it since....
When y'all nls, you're wot, clutch, shift, clutch... Right? Or did I miss a step?

My car has always been warmed up, an it was never frm 1-2nd

correct. Im not even concerned about the noises, if it breaks, thats what warranty is there for. I only NLS when I need to. no point in doing it from stop sign to stop sign though.

Question though: has anyone told a passanger about the NLS feature, gone to demonstrate it, but instead of hitting the gas you slam on the brake? Its good fun, you should try it!

If I'm not mistaken, then the car will shoot up near redline, but it will be controlled or something. I am not really sure, but I think I read it on here somewhere. Probably shouldn't hear noises like that though.
