Turns out mine came off the train in South Carolina - they had to drive it up here. So there should be several in South Carolina now.

Hate to tell you this but I live in Utah an no one has this car on their lot. There are a few dealerships (mine included) that have them built but they are stuck at quality control over the darn clamp. I am looking at 1-2 more weeks and this will be one of the first ones in the state.

 

They said mine is in loma linda. Which is an hour away from the dealership.

I bought, BOUGHT, not put a deposit, my car over a week ago. When I signed the paperwork, the dealer had been saying for a week that it was due any day, so that makes two weeks since they have been blowing smoke up my ass.

I spoke with the "General manager" today and he had no clue where the car was. He was the same guy who called last week and left a message of "I hope your enjoying your new cobalt, thanks for buying from us". *******, way to stay on the pulse of your dealership and customers. I also spoke with my sales person today who said "the car will be here soon, we have two in transit, black and red". I said, you sold me a YELLOW, where is that? The paperwork I signed has a specific vin number and I can't arbitrarily change it.. WTF, are they all this F*cking dumb?

for the last 4 days I have been trying to get someone there to find out where it actually is, that's all I wanted but no one could and no one called until I pressed today.

I am so pissed and frustrated with this place and their customer service. I realize this isn't their fault but they should be able to get a clue and try to help a customer who paid for and is insuring the car he can't drive.

 

I will be picking up the Yellow one Monday.


It's in Texas, I switched the train last week so they got lost and came here.

you are could be stuck at quality control. I ordered my car 4-20-08 and it was almost here then it got shipped back cuz of that dam clip. So now they are telling me it could be up to two weeks. I was so close to getting my car.

 

I know, I just want the dealer to do some work and find out since I bought the car and they said I would have it today, ok, tomorrow, ok, the next day, ok, Now it's definitely coming in tomorrow.

 

no dealer knows when the car is comeing in. My dealer told me that after I did my paper work they no longer can trak it cuz it shows up in the system as a sold car. It's crap.. I know I feel your pain.

 

I got mine yesterday from riverton chevrolet in sandy utah.

 

yeah there are a couple in Utah from what i can see on Gm order workbench, there are some in California already and i get mine on monday or tuesday depending on the distribution company in downtown portland.

There are supposedly some dealers in Mass that have them.

Oh well, I can wait, it's just frustrating not knowing the actual status of it. If I were told it's in Quality Hold and will be there for 2 weeks, then so be it, I will get to work on getting something from GM to ease my pain

 

Ok...damn...that is the last time I believe what the dealer tells me. What colors did they have in Sandy? Were they all decked out? The one I am waiting on is the the fully equipped imperial blue one....

 

i wanted imperial blue.. but sport tint red came first so i settled for that ha ha. i looove my car.

 

None they only got the one i got black all options one in a red one is due in soon larry h miller has one coming also and gus paulos in salt lake and another dealer in ogden cant remember the name I was in same boat as you last week looked them up they show up on dealer inventory as soon as they ship I guess . the paulos one and the one in ogden are due in next week when i talked to them last week maybe one or more were with mine on the train godd luck to ya hope ya get one soon.

 

Mine is the one from Larry Miller...already have it shored up...paperwork in place. It is funny that the only ones I see out there are the black, red, and silver ones. Wonder if that is a coincidence? Perhaps imperial blue will take a little while? Doesn't make much sense but I guess that is the way it goes. I will definitely wait a week or two just to insure I get the imperial color.

 

My imperial blue will be here this week, i plan on taking lots of pics and even pics from under the car, i work at the dealer and i will be putting it on the rack to take pics and make sure everything is ok!!!!

 

Yep bet that blue looks sweet I was bitchin and moanin about mine not being here it was due the 12th got it the 30th it was worth waiting for definitely Hauls ass and rides good even on the **** roads we have around here took it up parleys by park city today goes up mountains like they are flat and handles curves great hope you get it soon.

 

Hey dues any one know when the cars are going to start showing up in Minnesota? Let me know cuz i ordered one in April. I have the vin if that helps. Thanks

 

well guys its confirmed this car is an SRT-4 killer!!! i just raced one on my way back form a car show. this was quite by accident and i was scared to death thinking i would get left behind. but i proceeded to leave him by a car length.. fearing id run into the cops i braked and said **** that. he wanted me to continue but i said i was just testing it.. thank you.... and took off ha ha

here is the whole story...

wel wel my firends.. i took a chance for once and i got lucky.. i went to quaker steak and lube for an autoshow today. and these 2 SRT-4s were leaving showed there ass by revving the engine and there BOVs.... well they mistaked me for a S/C.... i said oh **** that. skittle wants to play ill C how i match up. fearing the worst... i figured id gwet only left behind a small bit. so i catch up to them on the highway but i veered off to go toward my grams place like i had intented on going before the car show. they exit also... guy in tyhe blue is wingless with gold rims and a CF hood. he get in the right lane and waits for me to get close and revs his engine again. i throw it in second and get by him and let off with mine. a lil surprised hes squeeling tires to show off. so as soon as the crotch rocket gets out of the way i slam it... turbo spools and im gone. SRT is having a hard time keeping up. i used the no-lift **** and pulled away. rounding a corner where cops are known to sit i brake and let him whoosh by. he motions for me to go to another street i said sorry.. i was just testing it out. thank you.... and took off. he went down the other way with his buddy and the bike... alot of adrenaline went through me. and afterwards i said to myself. WTF just happened... but. i actually beat the SRT-4... im still alil stunned.
