If mine is hot enough for the fans to be running (200) i idle it up to 1200rpm till the fans shut off before i will turn my car off l I cant bring myself to shut it off if the cooling fan is on .

So probably not great to shut the car off while it rolls in to the parking spot then, huh....

As long as you weren't racing right before you shut it off the car will be fine.
