OMG, another "I got a new Cobalt" thread
I began checking out the new SS/TC last summer, but had to get some bills paid off first. Spent the last few weeks looking for a great deal. The moon and stars finally lined up just right for me.
Drove a new 2009 home this evening. Had to drive 4 hours to get a decent deal ($18,990 on a GM program car with only 107 miles). Options are listed in my signature.
Everyone knows what a new Cobalt SS looks like, but there will be a couple calls for "pics or ban" so here are a few pics that I snapped on the way home from the dealership.

Silver was my first choice and yellow was my second choice. While blue was my wife's first choice and yellow was her second choice. Both of us already have red cars, my 2004 GTO and her 2000 Mitsubishi Spyder. I'll never have another black car again as long as I live. This Cobalt turned out to be the deal we couldn't refuse, so yellow is the color. My wife threaten to call it "Tweety" and I told her that will start a big fight, so forget that thought.
I'm too old for the high wing. I prefer the low one. They had another 09 SS/TC program car on the lot with the aero wing (but no RPD) for the same price.
Don't think this one was on eBay (at least not recently), but they had a yellow 08 SS/TC that was on eBay recently (think the buy it now price was $16,990). They told me someone from Louisiana bought it.
It was used for display at shopping malls and sporting events. It has a full warranty (including paint and exterior unlike the wind damage ones), but the warranty started in November when the dealership bought the car from GM. I commute a fairly long distance, so I'll probably go over the mileage before the time anyway. They sold it as used even though it had never been titled. It only had like 92 miles on it before I test drove it.
