as im writing i am installing my red and black Black cat custom gauge in my 08 cobalt ss turbo. Im soldering in the red LED......what a bitch

While I have the gauge cluster apart i wa looking at the silver rings that go over the fuel, Tach and speedometer. I was think about painting them red but im not sure how it would look

Has anyone out their painted this part regardless of the color.

Please show picture cause I really want to see them. Im thinking it might look tacky so im unsure
