So there I was.....


New years night(morning?) at my buddys house havin some fun at his lil schindig, I was parked outside of his house(drivers side toward the curb).
I went to my car to grab somethin an everythin seemed fine...

I come back outside an hr later to roll out.. (was around 4-5am?) an I go to back up and surprise muthafukkkkkkkin surprise, some *****!@$%@#@$%@^@#%!~@%$@&#*@&&*@&$*@&&%*@&*@&$*&@ *#&$*@&*#!&*@&$&*%&!*&**~&$*!&$*$!%&*&$@*@&%*@&#$? in ******* knocked off my passenger side mirror!!!

my car wasn't damaged at all aside from that, no marks on the side, my mirror...holder? wasnt even damaged.. but the mirror itself was gone

I ended up goin inside an finishin the night/mornin off in a drunkin frenzy

I come back out to my dude's spot later that day, an see the mirror broken to ****, along with a bunch of lil black plastic pieces... Dunno if they came from my car or what, but there wasnt other damage from what I could see..



but anyways tho... I didn't call the cops/insurance cuz now I'm under my dad's insurance an I figured it wouldn't be near the deductible unless I took it in, got the mirror replaced an 4 new tires... at a Benz dealership


so nowwwwww I'm lookin for a mirror.. I dunno if I need the whole assembly, jus the piece or.... watever.. it still turns an ****, but.. I can't see on that side no more

Oh, an on a side note... I didn't wanna start up a whole nuther thread about it... but the other day when I started my car, after it warmed up, it had this rumble to it like it had cams or somethin.. that lil lobe ya know? it stopped after I started movin, an I havent heard it since... but I'm jus tryin to see if its somethin I should be concerned about...

Hit up a scrap yard and pop out a mirror, and pop it into your car

The mirror it's self pops out of the mirror assembly

 

no screws no nuthin?

 

mirror should be able to be had from any dismantler;
odds are you can find a colour matched unit on car-part.com

I got an Injen CAI, but I've had it for a while, an been tuned just as long but never heard it..


an about the Lash Adjuster thread, I was waitin for a while, but didn't know he updated it I might have to pull my valve cover tomorrow when I get my tools back I hope its nuthin like that tho, it might be, cuz I've heard the clickin sound before :'(


as far as this mirror thing.. I think Ima jus hit up a junk yard pretty soon

 

when i had the injen intake. and i put the turbo XS intake on, it had the rumble... it sounded JUST like i had aftermarket cams.

i was tuned for injen intake, so when i popped in the turbo XS intake (since its bigger) it was screwing everything up. went back to stock tune, car was fine, then logged for turbo xs bolt ons.

 

well on that note.... I got tuned in the spring of Texas... an now me an my car are livin in the Winter of Eastern Pennsylvania... and it's my only form of transportation so im always on it... that might have somethin to do with it..
