Yep,

Dealer provide GAP = Rape
Insurance provided GAP = Deal

Anyway you slice it it's just insurance companies making more money off you because they know they are going to **** you somehow.

I would guess that a loaded SS/TC will go for over 25k
I hope not/doubt it. I'm sure it will be competitively priced with the Caliber SRT4. If they do price it beyond 25K it would be too close to a base 135i which is going to kick ass when it releases at the end of the first quarter in 08.

I dont intend to buy the SS/TC but if I do, I will get my GMS pricing which is nice. I paid 19k for my brand new 07 SS/SC WOOT!!!
I paid 16,900 for my 07 SS/SC WOOTx2

I'm planning on my next car being the new Camaro with the big V8

That is unless my little guys do their job too well before that time comes. Then I might have to settle for an SS Trailblazer

It all really just depends on how bad some wanker wants the car. You just have to have the patience to wait it out for that one buyer that wants that car. The guy that gets screwed hardest is the initial buyer of the car new though....

Your best bet is to buy the car at dealer auction if you have access to do so. Dealer mark-up is insane, dont let them bullshit you and claim they only make 10% or something stupid like that on every vehicle sold. As far as GMS pricing, and all that other nonsense as well, remember, the dealer is in the business to make money. Just because it says GM pricing, or "dealer sticker price" they are still making money. SO, just imagine what they initially have in that car. One last example, I had a local dealer offer to sell me a new z06 off the truck that day for more than $10k under sticker...

Don't you ever get tired of bragging that due to your GM-ties you're able to get discounts

I noticed that in a lot of your posts you mention the fact that you get almost everytime GM at a lower price. By now we all know.....

We get it dude, we get it !!

I wouldn't be surprised if they sat on Chevy lots for 10 months or more then. I think anyone with common sense would buy an Evo or Sti over it for that price.
