does anyone have problems listening to their ipods on their radio? using the aux?
everytime i use the aux i have to play around with the cable for like 10 mins to make it work then if u move the ipod it stops working? wtf is the problem

could it be the radio or i need a really good aux cable?

Try getting a new cable. I'm on my 3rd cable. They dont seem to hold up to the abuse too well...

it could also be the ipod itself...if it doesnt have the same issue listening with headphone then its probably the cable or the h.u

I agree with you on this one bro.

OP I also had the same problem when I first got an iPod. At first I thought it was the aux cable or the radio itself... Them I tried listening to music with the headset and that wouldn't work as well. I took the iPod in the next day at Best Buy and they came to a conclusion that the problem was on the iPod. If it works with the headset then try a different cable and if that don't work you might be looking at a dealer visit.

I usually get mine from radio shack, I've never had a problem with the ones I get from them.

because mine is having the same issuenow and im pretty sure its a problem with the ipod it self...only plays out of the right side speakers so the connection for the aux cord in the ipod is screwed

so im jus gonna get a pioneer nav headunit so i can just play my ipod thru bluetooth

My little cable never stays fully plugged into my ipod, so it sounds a lot quieter than if I hold it in there. I need a cable that fits in the ipod better, I wonder if apple makes one.

Weird. I'm guessing the cable. I had one go bad and now on the second. (using Ipod Nano 3rd Gen)

I just bought one from Radio Shack. *shrug* It's been working just fine for a while now.
