Problem with cold start.

So I just put a Full MPx Exhaust with catless DP and Muffler Delete. In the mornings when its warming up, it bogs revs high then low. Once u rev it up like 3 times it clears up. Sounds like something is clogged up... Tough to explain. Exhaust just sounds weird, but when it is warmed up its perfect..

Any suggestions?

ya u will just throw a CEL for the O2 sensor, so if u throw a code thats why, then when u get tuned tell them to turn the code off

and the cat warm up cycle will make the car rev at like 1500-2000 rpms when u cold start it to warm the cat up, so thats why it idles high then after a min it should go down to normal

Nope thats it, and never had a problem before. IM Gm stage 1 and still perfectly hitting around 21 without no delay. Like I said, drives and feels fine after warm up. Just dont want to turn it on and one morning it blows or something lol

No the only one i Have is for not having a CAT and when i went to put the defouler on. The o2 sensor was SUPER BLACK. But the car only has 6500 on it. So i dont think they can be bad

And with the exhaust on it now, would i be noticing that problem then? Plan on just knocking this intercooler out. And just getting trifecta

Sorry to revive an old thread.... But if you are having this problem then you need to change your oil.

That is what happens. Change your oil, and it should get sorted out. If you went without changing your oil, it would crank over, bog, and sometimes shut off, then it will try to restart itself.
