real loud rubbing noise when braking?

Does it only do this when backing up, or does it do it all the time?

rear brakes. Check inner rotor, it should be scored bad and possibly the inner pads are gone also...

definately sounds like your inner rotors are scoring and you inner pads are just pieces of metal now. Thats exactly what I had happening to my car before I flipped out and bought premium rotors and pads and took care of the prob myself.

Could be scored rotors, but could also be rust on the rotors from the rain. My rears are fine after 12k miles. You should pull the rear pads, clean everything off really well with brake cleaner, lube up the slide pins really well, put some of the brake queit on the back of the pads and see if that fixes the problem
