Rear brake match...
Not sure if this has been brought up yet...but a guy I know that works for a chevy dealership said that the rear brakes can be matched with a saab version... I know some people were having problems with this issue and had to wait till mid feburary to get a match.

LOL What part of PA are you from? I'd be willing to bet they figured out that problem based on MY CAR. I'm from Western PA and AFAIK I'm the first person to be running these SAAB parts since it was figured out at a GM Service Manager meeting two weeks ago approximately.

Im from western PA originally(bought my SS back home), but now live in eastern PA... So props to people from PA(Go Steelers)! There was a guy in this area with the same problem who was freaking out at the dealership because he was told there were no replacement brakes and would be none until mid feburary. This was about a month ago... This guy that comes into my bar and and works at a dealhaship(has an SS also) told me the story. Last week he came in and told me about the Saab brakes that fit. So maybe after they figured it out with your car they notified other dealerships. It kinda boggles the mind that it took them this long to figure out though...

Meaning another car that shares the same rear brakes as most of the stock SS's have a common rear brake issue.

That PERSON with the rear brakes issue.. was ME!!! I did the foot work because Chevy and GM are to stupid to cross check the vehicles that share components... The Saab 9-3 coupe 2006-2008. No one carries this except (Car Quest Auto Parts)...
If you're lucky you might find a Saab dealer that MIGHT have them in stock....
