Removing bottom grille

Does anyone have a pic of a SS/TC with the bottom grille removed? I wonder if it would help IAT2's or not ? Thanks.

Like what was already said...it's there to protect. I have a nice dent in mine from a rock hitting it. I also am thinking about putting it back on.

well, the holes in between the grille is pretty big, so i don't think it will protect it from small rocks, but for sure if the object is big.

Be happy, your cars came with them. Us SS/SC people had to make, buy or "borrow" to have one on our cars.

The grill slightly protects you could say I took mine out I like the look of it. I guess the performance could be a slightly cooler charge, but don't expect any HP difference might be a .1 degree cooler. My intercooler got dings before I took it out so I don't care.
