Replacing everything

Ok so after about 2 months of progressively worse cold starts, stft and ltft, stumbling, random knock, missfires when cold starting, and p0301,p0451, p0459, I've decided I want to replace every sensor on this car before I get retuned. So far I have these in mind:
Ac delco # 2133844 #1 wb o2 sensor
Ac delco # 2134254 # 2 o2 sensor
Ac delco # 2134222 MAF sensor
Ac delco # 2141473 P soleniod
Ac delco # 12589440 PCV valve

i have gms1 so I would like to buy both the map and tmap sensors but just the sensors themselves but can't seem to find any that don't come in a kit. I am also going to be getting a new canister in the back and the vent valve. Any thing else i am missing? Maybe a fuel cap? Was also thinking of pulling the head and replacing the intake valves and putting a phenolic spacer in.

Yeah I'm going to buy the 3 bars because I already have them (gms1) but they only list a map sensor and not the tmap.

They are the same sensor. Both can are TMAP, but only MAP is read from the top sensor. Should be about $17 each.

What about checking the position of your knock sensors?

Maybe your valves are gummed up and you're getting some of this because of it

What happens when you realize you just had a vacuum leak and just wasted hundreds of dollars?

Doesn't bother me because those sensors and parts are prone to failing so I wont have to worry about them for a bit. Plus I've also checked all my intercooler connections, intake, bpv, and charge pipes for leaks. As far as the knock sensor, were abouts is it and should I order a new one of those as well?

My valves are gummed up just like everyother lnf roaming the earth but there not that bad yet.

Have you thought about cleaning the sensors first perhaps? A $5 can of MAF cleaner goes a long way

Ya I have cleaned my maf twice now which made it better the first time but second it had no affect. same goes for my lower tmap sensor. They are all cheap anyways so I'm not worried about it. A couple hundred dollars for a little piece of mind and a happy car is very worth it in my eyes.

Nutty, These cars don't have EGR valves.

OP: What have you done to diagnose the misfire on cylinder #1? Whatevers causing that is likely causing your fuel trim issues. Start with the basics of fuel, spark and compression. When does the misfire happen. Is it a hard jolt of a misfire or kind of gradual?

There's hardly a need to replace every sensor you have.

As for the P0451, thats a code for the fuel tank pressure sensor (located on the evap canister). There's a bulletin to install a cover over the sensor to prevent debris intrusion. Simple enough.

The P0459 is for the vent valve... which likely needs to be replaced. Not the canister.

I already swapped everything over yesterday. Not sure which one did the trick but my car is running mint now. Not one misfire or hesitation anywhere. It runs like it did when it was stock.

^^ I'm sorry, but you either clearly must not know what you're looking at, don't have a lnf or don't know what an egr valve is. Either way you are incorrect. I would love to see a picture of this supposed egr valve you are refering to installed in the car though.

Nutty21, does your "EGR valve" look a little something like this by any chance? Something tells me it probably does..

That's the problem with the shotgun-approach: no definite answer. If your goal was to get it running right, though, that's all that matters.

It does, here's the link to the one I ordered and replaced, and is on the car running fine.

Right, so this tells us 2 things:

1) Amazon misinformed you by calling this part an EGR valve

2) you really don't know what an egr valve actually is or what it does if you believed them..

Well I thought maybe they screwed up at first, then I thought about it some more, and thought, well it is exhausting the gas fumes and they do get recirculated, so I guess it makes sense.

I dont' know. I know what it does and I replaced it and it's in there and working anyway. Part number I pasted originally is still correct anyway.

I replaced this as well and it's called a vent valve which goes on the canister on the back. It is not an EGR valve. Ohh and this doesn't vent exhaust........
