Ride quality of sportlines

I want to lower my car and I'm leaning toward Eibach Sportlines. I had these on my cavalier and it looked good, but it rode like a horse and buggy. How is the ride quality with these on the cobalt? Is there another company I should consider?

I was pleasently surprised at the ride...much better then my old cavy on goldlines. But other then speedbumps and huge dips in the road they are nice.

I thought mine were basically the same as stock. They are a progressive rate spring, so they are softer until compressed. I enjoy the ride. Campared to my buddy's SRT with Hotchkis springs, mine rides like a Cadillac.

They almost ride too nice for an aftermarket spring if you ask me. I kinda miss the bounce bounce that I had in my lowered RX-7.

Ive logged 23K on my sportlines between the two cobalts i've owned. You WILL feel the difference in ride harshness. Those potholes that would make a normal car go thunk Will make ur cobalt feel like its about to rip in half. But on decent roads and most highways you cant beat the commanding feel. I live in PA which has more crap roads than nice, and I've kept my eibachs on if that helps.

not an option for chicagoland way way too many potholes, stock is stiff enough.

Fortunately for you, you didn't have to drive through Michigan.

Sportlines ride nice on the cobalt, we have sold 100's of kits...

For extra durability and confort, get the Koni yellows also...
