Smoking real bad...

So tonight i was braking boosting at 40mph to race a madza speed3 big turbo. And i had a major loss of power and was smoking real bad. turned off car coasted to a stop. There is no knocking no clicking the motor is running ruff. i pulled off the top charge pipe to take a quick look in there is oil on the edges of the inside and where the bpv is. Check engine light is on. just posting some info i will post more tomorrow once i dig into it alot more didnt have any other tools on me to go further into it.

Check code and report back, could be a bad turbo...could be fried piston rings or anything in between.

So was looking up but couldn't find a 100% answer. But since I bought an ldk If I want to run e85 all I need is the injectors right? I won't need the fuel lube.

You will have to tune the ramp for it. I'm thinking that in the lower rpms with high fuel demand while spooling the turbo, it will have to come on gradually for the fuel demand. Higher rpms should be fine since the pump is driven off the cam, it's the lower rpms under wot that it struggles.

But I'm not a tuner, just what I've gathered.

She is on the stand. I know I'm super slow at getting this all going. But I'm currently looking for a zfr 71 now to go with the ldk.
