so i could say use that same boost controller on my stock tune, turbo, bypass valve.....? then it would just be a bonus after a tune? just dont turn it any higher than what the car normally boosts now without a tune until then?

Pretty easy if you take your time. The hardest part was getting the cluster out of the little space and out of the car LOL. Not much room between the steering wheel and dash to do it

I used a ruler and sharpie to mark the needle locations, then followed the instructions and everything is good to go! They def look hot at night

same premise as the pill mod but more controlled. Don't do it unless you're tuned for it!

im just thinkin I plan on a tune so it will be useful. maybe even do both at the same time but i definitely like the idea of being able to turn it down driving in town. i would imagine it helps in fuel economy/driveability, thus its point as far as i can tell.

What really helps the MPG's is the fact you can control the "gain" or "response", depends on what you want to call it. The car is much more tame thru town and on the highway when you dial the gain down, the boost isn't so on/off feeling then! My Avg MPG on the DIC went up a bit after the EBC. I was getting about 23 average, now Im over 26!!! I did just do a long highway trip tho so it should settle in the 25 area. I had a peak of 27.4 on my road trip getting over 325 miles to a tankful

wow that sounds nice. mines sitting around 23-24 on the stock tune. so even getting it up to the 25 area like you say without changing the way i drive would be cool. i keep posting here and then googling stuff...im trying to learn how this works. id like to cut down on the on/off feeling as well. even on the stock boost levels its noticable so i can only imagine how it would be at 25 psi

Just got them on, they ride really good!! Even in the rain, they were pretty awesome, could def feel better grip going side to side. We'll see when it gets dry here how they do against LC at 3K

.035 pill gets my vote. 24 psi @ 4k in 3rd. Tapers to ~18 psi @ 6500 rpm.

.045 only raises the boost around 1 psi.

You guys have a heavy foot. I get 28 - 30 mpg on my daily commute including stop & go traffic.

Yea that's what I get. About 28mpg's. I will throw in the .045 take it for a lil drive and see what happens and go from there.

I like it a lot so far. If you run the vent line back into the turbo and work on the gain/response a bit, it drives better then stock IMO.

Still looking fine. I dont drive at night much tho, so they rarely will see heat from the lights.
