I just bought one from Turbotech about two weeks ago or so. All in all the total price was a tid bit over 700$ They just had a black friday sale of 10% off everything so you may want to see if that's still happening. So far I'm enjoying the clutch. It engages a LOT sooner than the stock, but puts a lot more pressure on your leg if you hold it in for too long. But on top of the clutch you also need to get a new Throw out Bearing and new flywheel bolts. Thats another 150+

X2, plus the clutch is only 1/2 the cost, you still have 4-8 hours of labor to install it. You dont want to do it twice, that is why it is good to do a good one first.

It's rated at 437 ft/lbs and holds well, I've been running mine from TTR since last March with the lightweight flywheel.

I did all the work on mine except turning the flywheel. Took that to a shop. They don't make shims for our flywheels yet, from what i've heard. When you buy the spec 2+ you have to drill the flywheel pegs to a larger hole 12mm so that the new pegs for the spec 2+ clutch can sit on. They are quite larger. If you don't have a drill press I suggest you have a clutch shop do that as well.

All in all it was about 10 hours of labor total. Woulda been a lot less if I'd had more experiance >.>

^^^^ That's why I went with the matching LW flywheel. No machine shop work needed. Others have left the dowels out altogether but I wouldn't recommend that.

Hehe, I've got the hook up for flywheel grinding. Not to mention barelly ANYthing had to be taken off of the flywheel. I wouldn't recomend leaing the pins out either.

Different parts for different cars cost different pennies.

Ha. Call a dealership and ask how much the stock flywheel is. You'll crap yourself.

I bought a well priced (450$) spec stage 2 clutch for my supercharged sunfire from Turbo Tech Racing. $1000 alltogether (labour, parts, resurfacing flywheel)

Do research before you buy a lightened flywheel. I've heard it will decrease gas mileage a bit, and makes everyday driving more difficult.
