Spongy brake pedal issues

Hey guys looking for a little bit of help. My brake pedal is spongy and not sure what it is! I bleed the brakes and still feels the same. AllData says to have a scan tool hooked up while you do it so it can open and close the valves in the abs unit. I don't have access to one that will do that. So anyways, the pedal is spongy but will still stop the car. When the car is really cold, and I press the brake pedal down all the way, it feels like the abs is kicking in and pulsating the pedal. And my idle goes all funky when I do that, leading me to think its a vacuum line. And today I also noticed the pedal is even softer if I have the clutch pedal depressed at the same time. (Clutch uses brake master cylinder) what do you guys think??
I'm a 2010 and just rolled over 40,000 miles and have replaced the rear pads and rotors at 26,000 miles

Also, if I pump the pedal once while braking, and then once again the second pump is much stiffer how a brake pedal should feel

I have this problem also.. but not like you said previously.. I also bled my brakes when I did them.. probably going to redo them again this spring anyways so I'll try again and hopefully it'll be fixed this time around.
Anyways, curious to know more

Unfortunately, I don't know how long this will last, or if it means we just need to replace the rear calipers.

mine just started out of no where.

well, it started feeling a LITTLE spongey, then i didn't drive fro 2 weeks (was in the hospital for gall bladder removal/pancreaitis yay weightloss!) and when i drove it fort eh first time afterwards it almost feels like the brake pedal isn't there.

may have to look into that link posted.
