Spongy brake pedal issues
Spongy brake pedal issues
Hey guys looking for a little bit of help. My brake pedal is spongy and not sure what it is! I bleed the brakes and still feels the same. AllData says to have a scan tool hooked up while you do it so it can open and close the valves in the abs unit. I don't have access to one that will do that. So anyways, the pedal is spongy but will still stop the car. When the car is really cold, and I press the brake pedal down all the way, it feels like the abs is kicking in and pulsating the pedal. And my idle goes all funky when I do that, leading me to think its a vacuum line. And today I also noticed the pedal is even softer if I have the clutch pedal depressed at the same time. (Clutch uses brake master cylinder) what do you guys think??
I'm a 2010 and just rolled over 40,000 miles and have replaced the rear pads and rotors at 26,000 miles
