sport red tint coat painted calipers?
does anybody have a sport red balt and painted calipers?, I'm thinking about painting mine, but don't know what color, my wife wants me to paint them to match the cars paint, but I'll have a hard time trying to find paint, so I'm looking for other options, so all you with srtc's and painted calipers could you hook me up and post pics and paint color/type/brand you used, thanks

I think the dark gray stock color in the front brembos look better than black imo at least behind the silver wheels, it gives abit of contrast, the only 2 colors available at local stores are red and black, so I was thinking about red since I've seen dRk red 911s and caymans with bright red calipers and they don't look bad, but I kinda want to see what people have done with theirs, I'm probably going to paint the rotor's center in black tho', I might have to look in places like cardomain, and look at people dark red cars and see what they have done as far as color choices, I hate looking the same as other peoples cars but then again stock is the same as other peoples cars, lol
edit: never mind I thought about it some more, black would definetly stand out more between the wheels and the rotors, lol (long night!)

I got mine to match... well close enough...
Take duplicolor dk. toreador red. Make sure to properly prep the surface and go to town. Even though it is duplicolor, mine has held up just fine
Here is an up close:
Even when I when I got a custom paint job, the color still matches pretty well...
Make sure that you clear coat very well after painting. For my prep I cleaned them well and did some light sanding.

It isn't caliper paint... just simple duplicolor.... Basically $5/can at your local autozone... took a full day to do - but that is because I put on 8 coats plus clear and had to let them dry overnight... you don't have to go as overboard...

that looks nice, how hard do you run yours?, I tend to brake hard, so I'll expect mine to get warmed up, I do like the I idea of that paint to do some engine bay clean up, can't really tell how far off is that color from the sport red shade, is it darker or is it the shading in the picture?

Took mine to the track with no issues...even cooked the brakes slightly ....I am sure it will probably chip over time but that wouldn't be any different than caliper paint or powder coating. I will probably take mine off and redo them again when I change out my brake lines down the road but I doubt it will even be needed then...
